The department of Hospital Administration established in the Year 2010 to facilitate the organisational functioning of Yenepoya Medical College Hospital and to train the prospective hospital administrators.The department strives for achieving excellence in the fields of administration, training, research and faculty development.

Faculty: The department has highly qualified and committed staff. The faculty attend regular training and workshops and implement changes in the courses to meet the needs of the changing environment. 

Teaching-Learning Methodology: Goes far beyond the conventional methods. Case studies, student seminars, journal clubs and practical training are practiced.

Practical training: Daily postings in the 1200 bedded Yenepoya Medical College hospital helps the students develop on the job problem solving skills, better understanding of the hospital environment and improved understanding of hospital management concepts.

Industrial Exposure: Industrial interface through guest lectures, extramural hospital training and field visits are conducted to develop skills in the student.
