Department has maintained an unparalleled track record in academics as well as in the field of research.
Introduced innovative ways of teaching-learning in the curriculum like role-play, field trips, and problem based learning etc. and these have proved to be effective in overall learning experience.

To generate sustainable interest for the subject of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology in students, there by bringing about a positive change in their attitude.
To provide basic knowledge regarding the when, what and how of Medico-legal cases for undergraduate and post graduate students.
To emphasize and reinforce the principles of biomedical ethics among students, researchers and teachers.
