The Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy (DVL) was established in 1999 and evolved into post-graduate course (MD-DVL) in the year 2011. Doctorate program (PhD) was initiated in 2013. Currently department has 6 faculties, 7 MD-DVL postgraduates and three PhD scholars. In the last one year the department has grown academically with more than 72 high quality publications. Fungal diseases, psoriasis and Trichology (hair disorders) have been our thrust area with ongoing projects.
